About this event
Gilmore Department Store started Kalamazoo’s holiday parade in 1962, and it has opened the season downtown ever since. The 2026 parade is the 64th, and it typically draws close to 30,000 people to the curb.
Expect high school marching bands, giant balloons, floats and groups from across the community. When the last float passes, head to the Kalamazoo Mall for the After Parade Activities.
